About Me

My photo
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
I'm just your regular everyday girl, born and raised in Toronto =D. Now the fun stuff: I love fashion, beauty, and blogging. This blog is kinda like my diary in that I write a lot of personal stuff like what's happening in my life today. You won't find an celebrity gossip or world news. Hopefully you can relate to the stuff in my entries. I will update a makeup column and a fashion column every now and then.... prolly once a month. I've been collecting makeup ever since I was 15 and I've always had a flare for fashion. My favourite styles being preppy and grunge. For makeup.... I'm a minimalist with a pop of colour on the eyes. Enjoy! =D *kiss kiss*

It's CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!

So while studying, I'm listening to christmas songs and how inspiring christmas is.... so I decided to take a break and blog.

It's almost christmas and all the festivity is finally coming out. From the first snow fall yesterday to the 25th, we start once again to countdown to the days til christmas. Spirits lifted and songs turned up, I can just think of all the wonderful things christmas brings. Hot cocoa with marshmallows by the fireplace looking out into white sheet of snow that seems to cover the entire world. I'd have to say that it's probably the most celebrated holiday and yet I can never get tired of it. All the presents and bows, the tree with all the ornaments, the sparkle in the sky which only snow can create, the joyful music, winter activities, and the laughter that fills the air create a sense of belonging. During christmas everyone belongs somewhere with family, friends, random strangers, etc. Someone always says Merry Christmas to you (the Santa at the mall =D).

In my family, there's always a christmas party where a christmas tree is put up with tons of presents and family gathered around. Someone volunteers to be Santa and hands out presents to each one, calling out the names so that each present acceptance is a special moment. The laughter, the warmth, and smiles are all priceless. Every moment is magical and unforgettable. The day before, my brother and I each open one present and leave the rest for the 25th. We put up stockings that night and Santa comes around and fills our stockings with little trinkets. Santa gets his cookies and milk too.

My goal this christmas season? keep the tradition.
Also, this christmas season, I have someone special to share it with.... mistletoe?

-back to studying....

until next time
